Payment Gateways

Payments supported by Boss Cart are

Paypal

PayPal lets you send money to anyone with email. PayPal is free for consumers and works seamlessly with your existing credit card and checking account. You can settle debts, borrow cash, divide bills or split expenses with friends all without going to an ATM or looking for your checkbook.

Paypal IPN

Instant Payment Notification (IPN) is PayPal's interface for handling real-time purchase confirmation and server-to-server communications. IPN delivers immediate notification and confirmation of PayPal payments you receive and provides status and additional data on pending, cancelled, or failed transactions. To set up paypal Standard follow the steps below

  1. Login to the admin panel using http://www.yoursite.com/shopkeeper/login.php
    1. Enter your administrator username in username text box
    2. Enter your password in password text box
  2. In the main page Click on 'Payment Modules '
  3. Click on 'Standard Paypal Setting'
  4. Set the 'status' to 'Active' to use paypal standard in your website.
  5. Enter the 'Paypal Business Email id'
  6. Choose you want to test or make the payment go live
  7. Choose the 'order prefix' ( This will be prefix for in the transaction id. It will let you know quickly which payment gateway the payment has been set by)

Important Note for Paypal IPN

  1. Turn Instant Payment Notification ' On ' for your Paypal account.
  2. Set the Notification URL To http://dev.bosscart.co.uk/processpaymentpaypal.php

Paypal Website Payemnt Pro Account

PayPal’s Website Payments Pro lets you accept both credit cards and PayPal payments directly on your website. It consists of two API-based solutions: Direct Payment and Express Checkout.

Direct Payment lets you accept credit cards on your website.

  1. Login to the admin panel using http://www.yoursite.com/shopkeeper/login.php
    1. Enter your administrator username in username text box
    2. Enter your password in password text box
  2. In the main page Click on 'Payment Modules '
  3. Click on 'Paypal Website Payemnt Pro Account '
  4. Set the API Credentials and save it

Paypal Express Checkout Account

Express Checkout makes it easier for your customers to pay and allows you to accept PayPal while retaining control of the buyer and overall checkout flow.

  1. Login to the admin panel using http://www.yoursite.com/shopkeeper/login.php
    1. Enter your administrator username in username text box
    2. Enter your password in password text box
  2. In the main page Click on 'Payment Modules '
  3. Click on 'Paypal Express Checkout '
  4. Set the API Credentials and save it

Google Chekcout

Google Checkout is a fast, secure checkout process that helps increase sales by bringing you more customers and allowing them to buy from you quickly and easily with a single login


  1. Login to the admin panel using http://www.yoursite.com/shopkeeper/login.php
    1. Enter your administrator username in username text box
    2. Enter your password in password text box
  2. In the main page Click on 'Payment Modules '
  3. Click on 'Google checkout '
  4. Enter the Google account details and save the setting.

Worldpay

RBS WorldPay is an established leader in face-to-face, online, telephone and mail order payment management.


  1. Login to the admin panel using http://www.yoursite.com/shopkeeper/login.php
    1. Enter your administrator username in username text box
    2. Enter your password in password text box
  2. In the main page Click on 'Payment Modules '
  3. Click on 'Worldpay '
  4. Enter the Worldpay account details and save the setting.

Nochex

NoChex are a leading independent UK based online payment company, providing simple, easy to use, online payment services to small and medium size online businesses.


  1. Login to the admin panel using http://www.yoursite.com/shopkeeper/login.php
    1. Enter your administrator username in username text box
    2. Enter your password in password text box
  2. In the main page Click on 'Payment Modules '
  3. Click on 'Nochex'
  4. Enter the Nochex account details and save the setting.

Paypoint ( Secpay )

PayPoint (Secpay) enables businesses to accept payments online and over the phone by providing a full service payments solution that is fast, secure, reliable and easy to implement to get businesses trading online without delay.


  1. Login to the admin panel using http://www.yoursite.com/shopkeeper/login.php
    1. Enter your administrator username in username text box
    2. Enter your password in password text box
  2. In the main page Click on 'Payment Modules '
  3. Click on 'Nochex'
  4. Enter the Secpay account details and save the setting.

2Checkout

2Checkout is a full-service e-commerce solution recognized by Inc. Magazine as one of the fastest growing companies in the United States. 2CO’s proprietary technology supports back-office functions including financial reporting, fraud prevention, affiliate tracking, customer service and sales tracking.


  1. Login to the admin panel using http://www.yoursite.com/shopkeeper/login.php
    1. Enter your administrator username in username text box
    2. Enter your password in password text box
  2. In the main page Click on 'Payment Modules '
  3. Click on '2Checkout'
  4. Enter the 2Checkout account details and save the setting.


Sage Pay ( Protx )

Sage Pay is the union of Protx, the fastest growing payment service provider (PSP)

and Sage, one of the UK’s most trusted business brands.

  1. Login to the admin panel using http://www.yoursite.com/shopkeeper/login.php
    1. Enter your administrator username in username text box
    2. Enter your password in password text box
  2. In the main page Click on 'Payment Modules '
  3. Click on 'Protx'
  4. Enter the Protx account details and save the setting.

Pay by Cheque

Shop owner may choose to receive payment by cheque. You may enter the account details and note for customer to send cheque and it will be displayed in the order confirmation page.

    1. Enter your administrator username in username text box
    2. Enter your password in password text box
  2. In the main page Click on 'Payment Modules '
  3. Click on 'Pay by Cheque'
  4. Choose the radibutton to enable pay by cheque .
  5. Enter your note for customers.

Cash On Delivery

Shop owner may choose to receive payment on delivery.

iDEAL

Boss Cart Premium is now integrated with iDEAL payment gateway. Based in Netherlands, Ideal payment gateway makes paying simple, reliable and easy.



  1. Login to the admin panel using http://www.yoursite.com/shopkeeper/login.php
    1. Enter your administrator username in username text box
    2. Enter your password in password text box
  2. In the main page Click on 'Payment Modules '
  3. Click on 'iDeal'
  4. Enter the iDEAL account details and save the setting.

ccNow

Boss Cart Premium comes with ccNow integrated. ccNow allows to sell online and accept credit card processing in no time and does not require customers to create an account in order to make a purchase.

If some of your customers don’t want to pay with a credit card, ccNow offers PayPal as an alternative, and they don’t even need a PayPal account to accept PayPal payments.

  3. Click on 'ccnow'
  4. Enter the ccnow account details and save the setting.

  4. Enter the ePDQ account details and save the settings


CARDSAVE

Boss Cart 1.5.10 is now integrated successfully with Cardsave. Cardsave enables you to accept debit and credit card payments from all major cards.

  1. Login to the admin panel using http://www.yoursite.com/shopkeeper/login.php
    1. Enter your administrator username in username text box
    2. Enter your password in password text box
  2. In the main page Click on 'Payment Modules '
  3. Click on 'cardsave'
  4. Enter the cardsave account details and save the settings

MONEYBOOKERS

Boss Cart version 1.6.1 can now accept payments through Moneybookers . Moneybookers is one of the largest online payment provider. It accepts the global credit and debit card and customers can pay with their moneybooker account too.

Boss Cart has implemented instant payment notification for moneybookers.

Order processing is real time and is done securely.

To set up Moneybookers in Boss Cart Premium version 1.6.1 follow the steps below

  1. Login to the admin panel using http://www.yoursite.com/shopkeeper/login.php
    1. Enter your administrator username in username text box
    2. Enter your password in password text box
  2. In the main page Click on 'Payment Modules '
  3. Click on 'Moneybookers'
  4. Set the 'status' to 'Active' to accept payment from Moneybookers in your website.
  5. Enter the 'Merchant Email id'
  6. Enter the 'Merchant id'
  7. Enter merchant secret word. This is used to verify if the payment made by customer is a not a fraudlent . This is used to check if the form was modified during the payment by customer
  8. Choose the 'order prefix' ( This will be prefix for in the transaction id. It will let you know quickly which payment gateway the payment has been set by)

Important Note

The secret word MUST be submitted in the ‘Merchant Tools’ section in lowercase. If you insert any uppercase symbols, they will automatically be converted to lower case. The only restriction on your secret word is the length which must not exceed 10 characters. Non-alphanumeric symbols can be used. If the ’Merchant Tools’ section is not shown in your account, please contact merchantservices@moneybookers.com
