Product Management

Boss Cart Premium allows you to add products with powerful catalogue manager. Version 1.6.0 also allows addition of products using HTML Catalogue manager.

Getting into shopkeeper control panel

1. Login to the admin panel using http://www.yoursite.com/shopkeeper/login.php
   1. Enter your administrator username in username text box
   2. Enter your password in password text box
2. In the main page Click on Product and Category Management or HTML Catalogue Manager

Adding Category

1. In product and category management page Click on Add New Category
2. Enter Category details
3. The Category Appears in the category list. You can add products directly to the category or add sub category to it
4. Sub Category can be added from the add sub category icon
5. Click on the leaf category to see the products in that category

Adding Product

1. Click on Add New Product to get product addition panel

Adding Manufacturer

In order to add a new manufacturer click on the New Manufacturer button or click on the suitable menu in the left bar.

Adding Product Attribute

Add the product specific attributes Example:

1. If you sell bracelet in different lengths you will need to use the product specific attributes
2. In the column labeled as Attribute you will need to enter Size as Product Attribute
3. In the column labeled as Measurement Unit you will need to enter cms as Product Attribute
4. In the column labeled as Product Value you will need to enter 150|180
5. In the column labeled as Price you will need to enter 0|5.
6. In the column labeled as Stock you will need to enter 5 |5.
7. In the column labeled as Weight you will need to enter 0 |5.
8. Here if customer chooses 150 cms size, there wont be additional cost. But if he/she chooses 180 cms length, there will be additional cost of 5 pounds. The stock level shows the total stock of the items option wise. So Adding 5 |5 to stock means there are 5 150 cm sized and 5 180 cm sized. The stock will be decreased for each order confirmation. Once the stock reaches 0 the option wont be shown. Here the weight 0 | 5 means if the 150 cm size is chosen the addition weight for it is 0 gm ( here i assume the standard weight is gm ) and if customer chooses 180 cm 5 gm of weight will be added to the weight in basket. This weight will be used in calculation of the shipping charge if the shipping charge depends upon the weight of basket

Adding Product Images

1. Click on Upload images to add images to the product
   1. Add the images and click close. Click on save button to save the changes.Note:
2. Now the product is listed in the product list
